Today environmental degradation is
the key issue all over the world. This is so because the
interaction of human beings with nature is a class
different from all other living beings.
Company has a well-equipped Physical, Chemical, Microbiological and Environmental professional Laboratory. NESS provides laboratory services through its fully equipped Physical and Chemical laboratories to individuals, private company’s, industries, NGOs, International bodies, Nepal Government sponsored projects etc. Environmental strength of the company is its Laboratory Support Facilities. First Issue of the publication was published in July 1995, which contain collection of 12 research articles. |

This is a Joint Venture Company established in 1992, under the rules and regulations of Department of Industry, Ministry of Industry, Government of Nepal (Reg. No. Pra. Li. No. 5810-049/50). The objective of the company is to provide positive contributions towards sustainable development in Nepal by providing scientific services as well as research and development in the field of infrastructure development and environmental management. It operates a well-equipped environmental laboratory, which is the first accredited laboratory in Nepal and is also enlisted in the Ministry of Population and Environment (Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology). Besides, the day to day environmental laboratory services, the company has accomplished more than 70 development projects in the field of infrastructure development, environmental research, assessment, monitoring, auditing and management. Now, the company is a reputed consulting company who has individually established itself in Nepal as reliable agency for undertaking a variety of projects in fields of natural resource management and environmental protection. Company has a well-equipped physical, chemical and environmental laboratory This is the first laboratory accredited in Nepal by the Nepal Council of Standards. Besides, the laboratory is also enlisted in the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology, to conduct environmental studies and in the Ministry of Agricultural and cooperative to conduct quality control analysis of chemical fertilizers. Environmental strength of the company is its Laboratory Support Facilities. It maintains an well equipped chemical laboratory with a range of equipment for Chemical Analysis of Water, Waste Water, Agricultural Soil, Fertilizer, Pesticides, Heavy Metals, Plant Matter, Vegetable Products, Food And Food Products, Alcoholic Beverage, Rocks and Minerals, Industrial Raw Materials, Industrial Products, etc. Besides, the company maintains a range of field monitoring and sampling equipment to carryout field monitoring and sampling of specimens as per the requirement.
